Lanta Castaway Beach Resort

We had a great view of the sunset, and there are restaurants along the strip outside, plus a pharmacy, convenience store, and an awesome dive center. At the resort, the restaurant and bar were great and never busy, since there aren't many rooms. I enjoyed the Thai food, while the kids went for Western and Tex Mex. Our bungalow was modestly furnished but had everything we needed, and it was cleaned perfectly every day. The massage was onsite, and the beach was lovely. Being at the end of Long Beach made this boutique resort feel really quiet. We'd absolutely come back.

We couldn't have asked for a better place for our first family beach holiday with our 9 month old. The service, food, and location were all perfect. Loved everything about this hotel and highly recommend it. Book quickly, as it fills up fast.

Breakfast was great, made fresh to order. Everyone at the bar, restaurant, and reception was so helpful, and the room cleaning lady was lovely too. We loved this resort. The island felt peaceful, a good little break from busy life, and cleaner, with nicer and more reliable people than Krabi, which we found dirty and awful.

We'd booked somewhere else for our third night, but this place was so good that we extended our time in Koh Lanta so we could come back. The resort is beautiful, the location was perfect, and it had everything we needed. The staff made the stay even better by being so welcoming and always checking that we had what we needed. They also took meticulous care of the property. We will certainly return. Thanks again!
