The room had plenty of space, storage, places to hang things, outlets, a TV, AC and a mini fridge. It’s a little worn, but affordable and worked well for what I needed. I’d recommend it if you’re on Koh Lanta to scuba dive, especially with Blue Planet divers. If swimming and beach walks are the plan, I’d choose another part of the island with nicer beaches.

A handy place to stop for a night or two after arriving at Saladan Pier, or before heading off. It’s very close to the pier, and the rooms are basic but clean and have AC. It cost 1200B per night for a pet.

Sleep was hard here. The diving school makes a lot of noise every morning, and nights are noisy too. You can hear someone talking outside your door as if they’re right beside you. The bathroom wasn’t clean, and the sink looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.

There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and the pier is close too. It’s a bit of a trek to the west beaches, but getting around by tuk tuk is easy and cheap. A calm place with nice service.

The room was convenient, and the AC and shower were good. Mine had low water pressure. It’s close to motorbike rental and lots of places to eat, and the staff were friendly.
