Lanta L.D. Beach Bungalows

The hosts were so welcoming, and the beach is only yards away. If we came back in the February or March heat, we’d choose a bungalow with AC. Otherwise, it was amazing.

It’s a peaceful, relaxing place in a great spot, just 30 metres from the beach. There’s a minimart nearby and a good pizza restaurant by the beach. The room was simple and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was no TV, and no wall socket beside the bed for charging a phone. Still good value.

The location was good, but the bungalow needs a lot of work. It felt very run-down, with holes in the ceiling, screws scattered around, poor paintwork, and a shower that pointed the wrong way. There was no kettle and just one cup. Water pressure was the worst part. Some mornings and evenings, the tap barely dribbled, and there wasn’t enough water to flush the toilet. We moved elsewhere the next week and found a much better place for less money.

I was really scared when I found a huge spider in my room, since I’m arachnophobic. The staff removed it and let me switch rooms because I was too frightened to go back. They also helped me rent a scooter. The place is well located, and above all the staff are so kind and helpful. Thank you for everything. I won’t forget you!
