Lanta Miami Resort

The road noise woke us at night, and we found the food pricey and bad. Breakfast wasn't even worth mentioning. The ocean was muddy and unclear unless you were standing on a rock. There were only a few cheap bean bags in the shade, very few sunbeds for the whole hotel, none on the beach, and no umbrellas for shade. The place felt claustrophobic and crowded. We booked a sea-view room and paid 1500 extra per night, 6000 baht extra for the four nights we stayed. As you can see in the photo below, we were very disappointed. The staff tried to find a solution, but the owners didn't. They offered a free meal, which we declined because of the poor quality we'd experienced. I recommend staying farther north. We moved to Lanta sand resort and Spa, where it was quiet and calm, the water was clear, the food was great and cheaper, and there were plenty of sunbeds. It was perfect for families too.

The restaurant was excellent, with lots of tasty dishes, and breakfast was generous with plenty of options. Being able to eat right by the sea was amazing. The property is spacious and nice to walk around and relax in, and the rooms are comfortable and a good size. I chose this hotel because it sits right by the beach, and that turned out to be a great decision. There's a large pool and a small one, and the whole place feels super relaxing. The staff and security team were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the warm, welcoming front desk.

The breakfast has loads of variety and was really good, and the rest of the food was great too. We stayed a little over a week and loved how relaxed the beach setting felt. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and went out of their way to make us comfortable, both in the rooms and at the restaurant. A perfect stay, 10/10. I’d definitely recommend it for a chilled luxury beach break.

The sunsets here were unbelievable. People come to this part of Koh Lanta just to watch them, and from the hotel the view was perfect. I also loved the food: breakfast, dinner, and really all the dishes were delicious, with lots to choose from and something different every day. My room was a bit away from the main hotel area, but the little golf carts took us wherever we wanted, as often as we needed. It made getting around easy, and the place felt so calm and comfortable. The staff’s warmth and positive energy stood out even among all the kind people we met in Thailand. The owners and everyone working there were lovely. I also had an incredible massage and really recommend the coconut oil one. The scent stayed on my skin all day. Since I’m Muslim, I couldn’t have it on the beach, so the masseuse took me to their shop, Green Massage. I loved the whole experience, and the owner was so, so kind. It’s a must-do in Koh Lanta for me. Of the five cities and five hotels on my Thailand trip, this was easily the best one. Thank you 💛
