Lanta Pearl Beach Resort

Our hut was set farther from the pool, which made it quiet and really nice. The resort itself is fantastic, with a jungle hut feel on Long Beach and gorgeous sunsets. The staff were friendly, Jimmy at the bar was happy to sort out a beer or cocktail, and the food on site was good. There are also several restaurants close by, so you've got options. The pool is small and there were lots of little kids, so be ready for that. Laundry on site was cost effective, a big plus in the heat and humidity. Overall, highly recommend.

Long Beach is lovely, and we spent most of our time there. It's only a short walk from the resort, with places along the beach for lunch, snacks and dinner. The main road is close too, with restaurants, markets and taxis to Saladan. There are also several tuk tuks parked outside, so finding a ride was never difficult. The bungalows sit among jungle scenery, but aside from the usual geckos, we didn't see animals. Everything was very clean. Each morning they cleared leaves from the paths and cleaned inside the bungalows. We had two next to each other, and both were good. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and showers worked well, and each bungalow had a little porch to relax on before bed. The kids really liked having a hammock each. The pool area was nice, though we spent more time at the beach. Food at the restaurant was good, and the staff were quick, attentive and always smiling. We'd be happy to come back.

It was quiet, clean and relaxing, and I’d absolutely stay again. The rooms were spacious, and the location was just right, with the beach, restaurants and a clinic about a five-minute walk away. The hotel restaurant was good for both breakfast and dinner.

The grounds were lovely, and the welcome was friendly right from arrival. Everyone introduced themselves by their first names and greeted us with a fist bump. Special thanks to Jimmy & JoJo at the bar and Foon Foon by the pool for being so kind. We were there during a rainy spell, and the room never really stopped feeling damp. With bungalows, I guess that can't really be avoided.
