Lazy Days Bungalows

The bungalow was spacious, with a very comfortable bed, a big open shower, and the nice extras of Wi-Fi, AC, and TV. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch to read, and it was quiet and relaxing at night. I felt very safe travelling solo, and the friendly staff were helpful and accommodating. You can rent a motorbike at reception for 250 baht a day, which I recommend for getting around. I visited in mid to late October, during shoulder season. Some nearby places were closed for renovations, which brought some noise, and power-washing right beside my bungalow was very loud for two days. I couldn’t properly relax there then, but it did get me out to explore the lovely island. Breakfast was good, and Thai dinner and cocktails were even better. It’s a great place for a few days, though I’d stay somewhere else for part of a longer visit to see more of Lanta.

The restaurant food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the beach was lovely, maybe the best on Lanta. The rooms felt luxurious, with a comfortable bed and air conditioning that worked well. The bathroom looked great too. The hot water wasn’t working, but it didn’t bother me.

We tried several restaurants around the island, and Lazy Days is one of our favourites. Everything was freshly cooked, and the vegetables tasted incredibly good and were presented with care. You could taste how fresh and high quality the food was. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, which made the meal even nicer. Absolutely delicious, highly recommended!

The bungalows feel authentic and lovely, right beside the beach. Everyone on staff is really friendly, and they make amazing breakfasts and dinners. You’ll want a moped on Koh Lanta, and it’s easy to have one delivered to the hotel for a good price.
