Na Vela Village - Adults Only

The family's kindness made my Christmas day one of the best I've had in a long time, and I hope to come back soon. Each day they left free snacks and refreshments in my room, and a morning treat outside the door was something I looked forward to eating on the balcony while watching local monkeys emerge from the jungle mountain backdrop. The resort has peaceful palm surrounded bungalows at the back and one-bedroom condos at the front. Its location is excellent, the rooms are spotless, the shower is great, and the bed was comfortable. I slept well even though I was unsure about staying on the main road. You can walk to Klong Dao beach and keep going to famous Long beach.

The owners made us feel like family, checking on how our plans were going and leaving breakfast outside our door every morning, even though I don't think we'd paid for it. We're four young adults, but it felt like staying at a friend's house while their mom made sure we were okay. When one of us caused a plumbing problem, definitely our fault, they got it fixed quickly. Wawa wouldn't even accept the tip we tried to leave. That personal attention made our four days at Na Vela Village memorable, and I'll definitely return. We stayed in a clean, comfortable apartment-style room near the road, and it felt like a little home. The location worked well for us: the scuba shop we planned to dive with was walkable, several restaurants were a short walk or tuk-tuk ride away, and the beach wasn't far. The owners also chatted with us whenever we passed. I can't recommend the place enough for diving, exploring, or just relaxing in Koh Lanta.

The hosts were the real highlight. Everyone in the family was welcoming and friendly, treated us like family, left free breakfast snacks each day, and helped with every issue we ran into. We really enjoyed our eight nights here. The well-kept bungalows with modern outdoor showers were lovely, and the peaceful pool in the leafy backyard was a great place to relax. Thanks, Wawa and family, for having us.

We had a serious medical problem during our stay, and the hosts helped us in every way they could, far beyond what anyone could expect or take for granted. We felt safe and comfortable throughout, and we're very grateful. The small hotel was calm and clean, with lovely, well-kept surroundings. Our bungalow beside the beautiful pool was especially quiet at night, while supermarkets, restaurants, scooter rentals and the night market were all within walking distance.
