The owner was one of the kindest people we met on our travels, and she was quick to respond and willing to help with requests. She left a delicious bowl of fresh fruit when we checked in. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated, with a small TV, wardrobe, and kitchenette. Still, our unit, A1, had bed bugs. We're certain we woke with bed bug bites, so we left after one night instead of staying two. The owner refunded the unused second night, which we appreciated. Without that, my three-star rating would be lower. At nearly $90USD a night during high season, this was the most expensive place we stayed on our trip and was absolutely overpriced. There are no signs for the property or exterior overhead lights, and it didn't look like tourist lodging. I had to ask our taxi driver to wait while I checked we were at the right place. The walk from the beach is short, about ten minutes, but very dark at night and remote, something to keep in mind if you're traveling alone or are a woman. Having to scramble for somewhere else to stay put a kink in our itinerary, and I wouldn't come back.
