Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort

The view from the breakfast and pool area is beautiful, and the staff were friendly during our lovely four-night stay. Getting up there from the cabins means tackling quite a lot of stairs, so it may be difficult for older guests or anyone with limited mobility. The beds felt extremely hard to me and gave me a bad back, so I ended up sleeping on the extra mattress we had for our child. I know comfort is personal, since someone else said they liked them. Full-length mirrors in the rooms would be useful.

The people at Phumala were lovely and helpful, and the beds were the most comfortable we'd had so far on our trip. But I'd avoid arranging transport through reception. We booked the advertised van to Krabi for the end of our stay, and it was with 'Matcha Tours'. They had an average rating of one star and seemed pretty incompetent. You can probably find their reviews more easily by searching than I can explain the experience here. I took a chance, but it's a shame Phumala uses them.

I came for a birthday trip and found the place peaceful, clean, and really nice to stay in. The staff were warm and helpful, and the service was great. Most of the workers are from Pattani and can speak Malay. I'd definitely think about coming back to Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort. 🤍🌈🫶🏻

The room was comfortable, clean, and carefully laid out, which made it easy to relax. We also appreciated how well the facilities were looked after and the attention given to the details. The staff treated us very well throughout our enjoyable stay, and we'd be happy to return.
