The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, with a good bed, a big fridge, and a small patio where we could sit and watch the monkeys. It’s only a few metres from the main road, yet still pretty calm. The owners were nice, and it felt like good value for the money.

It’s well located for exploring the island, with a 7/11 around the corner and a few restaurants open. We may have been the first guests to stay here. The room smelled mouldy throughout, and there was no TV or Wi-Fi. Covid had killed the island, which was so sad to see, though travelling around with hardly anyone there was a pleasure.

We stayed for one night as a stop on the way to Koh phi phi. The bungalow was very clean, with a large queen bed, and the staff were friendly. Good value for the price.

There’s plenty of room and it’s comfortable, with air conditioning that works perfectly. The person in charge of the accommodation is easy to reach. I liked being on the Valais side, among greenery and forest instead of by the beach.
