The Guu Villas

We spent three months here during low season with our two young children, and it suited the way they like to sleep, in the same room or close to us. The huge upstairs master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a large built-in bunk that became their own little space. Big windows and a west-facing balcony make for stunning sunsets from the room. Downstairs, the open kitchen and living area gave us plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped for real cooking, and opens onto the living room with a view of the pool. It worked well for our kids and the playmates who visited. The outdoor space is beautiful too, with carefully chosen plants and a pool that glows against its Italian tiles. We loved having morning coffee in the Balinese-style cabana, looking across the pool at the villa. Upstairs, the large west-facing terrace has loads of space and an unbeatable view. An extraordinary villa.

We’ve stayed in almost every corner of Lanta before, and this felt like the best place to explore the island from. It’s private, spacious and clean. I’m so glad I found this villa, and couldn’t have asked for a better place to end 2025. We can’t wait to return!

A lovely spot to spend time together by the pool. The morning view is absolutely picturesque, and the location is great.
