We had a great stay. The beds are very comfortable, the air conditioning works well, and there are mosquito screens on the balconies. It’s clean and modern, with an unexpected industrial chic look. Right by a lovely beach and loads of restaurants. You also get one bottle of water per person each day.

Joe was so kind and helpful, always checking that we were happy with our accommodation and willing to do anything for us. The modern rooms have beautiful wood details, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Having Joe’s shop in the building was a nice bonus. The place is on the busiest strip of Koh Mak, which means everything is nearby, from restaurants and bike hire to the sea. Busy here still means very quiet. Breakfast is served at a local cafe run by a lovely young woman, and it was great for the price of the accommodation.
