Lazy Day The Resort

Lazy Day has a place in our hearts for its vibe, location, amenities, and service. The beach is lovely for swimming and snorkeling, never feels crowded, and gives you gorgeous sunsets each day. Rooms are bright and spacious, cleaned well daily, and come with a stocked fridge. The grounds are spread out, so it feels private. Kres leads fantastic service and they'll help with anything, including arranging a scooter or golf cart. We enjoyed the food, especially the Thai dishes, and had really good massages on the beach.

The bungalows by the beach were simple but comfortable, with lovely sea views and plenty of privacy. Waking up to the waves was one of the best parts. The staff were warm and always willing to help. The beach itself was quiet, clean, and felt almost private, and the whole place had a relaxed, stress-free feel. We had a wonderful stay at Lazy Day The Resort in Koh Mak. It's a real hidden gem for anyone wanting to unwind and get away from busy city life.

The room was simple and rustic, but had its own charm, and with that view we didn't need more. It was clean and the A/C worked well. We did miss having a flyscreen on a window or the deck doors so we could listen to the ocean at night. The setting is beautiful, right on a peaceful beach, with lots of space and mostly couples around. The staff were amazing, and Hotel Manager Kres was especially friendly, professional, and thoughtful. Scooters are easy to rent, and kayaks are free. It was a very pleasant, peaceful stay.

We loved how quiet and private our beachfront bungalow felt, and the view was amazing. The bathroom was basic but worked, though the shower pressure was low and the water got warm rather than hot. The food was good, if a little pricier than nearby places, and room service was a nice option. There weren't many beach chairs, but the loungers on the covered patio were comfortable. WiFi and internet were down for our whole week there in November, which was disappointing. The restaurant coffee machine broke, then was fixed within a couple of days. Getting to the main building for breakfast and the restaurant meant taking many stairs and walking a bit, and there are stairs up to the bungalows too. It's a great spot to decompress, private but close to the dock and other services. Nearby restaurants were an easy beach walk away and good value. Our stay at Lazy Day was wonderful, and the beachfront bungalow exceeded our expectations.
