Pretty grim. I was in a four-bed dorm, and by Thailand standards it was bleak. The beds were okay and the linen was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. That was about it. The toilets and showers hadn’t been cleaned, and the drains were clogged with all the hair that hadn’t been cleared out. It’s close to the pubs, so the noise goes on until at least 2 AM. Forget about sleeping before then. It cost 260 THB. Look somewhere else.

A spacious, clean room with good AC, a comfortable bed, and a shared ensuite toilet. Nothing fancy, but it does the job if you just need somewhere to crash while exploring the island. The receptionist was really nice.
