Coco the cat is the real highlight! The place itself is simple, clean, and pleasant, with a good location for a couple of nights. The room has a fridge, and there's a shared kitchen.

The hosts made Adrian View feel especially welcoming. The Filipino and Thai couple who run it were accommodating and glad to help with questions about the island. I also enjoyed starting the day in the garden with coffee and fresh air, or sitting there with a beer in the evening. Bring mosquito repellent if you plan to linger outside. Getting around was easy. The resort is 1.4 kilometers from Ko Si Chang Tha-Lang Pier, and Khao Kad Cape and Chong Khao Kat are just a few hundred meters away. Mondop Roi Phraphutthabat Buddha Footprint, Chao Pho Kao Yai Shrine, and Kuan Yin Shrine are all within a kilometer. Motorbikes can be rented for 300 baht a day, which was handy for exploring quieter parts of Koh Si Chang. The rooms are modest, but comfortable, clean, and peaceful after a day out. They have a TV, air conditioning, and a refrigerator. I stayed from October 21 to 23, 2023, and would recommend Adrian View as a friendly, conveniently placed base for solo travelers, couples, or families exploring the island.

The sea is only a two-minute walk away, with food within 200 meters and a shop right next door. There’s also a restaurant about 250 meters away with live music until midnight. It’s a small, newly built resort on a side road, with 10 rooms and a stylish exterior, benches, tables, and colorful lights at night. The owner speaks very good English and offers a free ride from the port, and back when you leave. Service was good, the 5G Wi-Fi was fast, and there were four networks. The kitchen has breakfast items for self-service and a gas stove for cooking. I negotiated a lower price for a long stay and for using only the fan instead of air conditioning. I didn’t see any mosquitoes or other insects. It has the lowest price on the island, though it was still pretty empty on weekdays.

It's a quiet, pleasant spot near the Chinese Temple and Buddha's Footprint. You can't really walk there easily, so you'll need a motorbike or a samlor. Renting a motorbike is the best way to get around the island.
