Elephant Bay Resort

There’s no food at the resort, and the nearby choices were really poor, so it wasn’t a convenient or pleasant place to stay. The rooms are badly run down, with a horrible bed. The pool and beach weren’t inviting at all.

I walked in, saw the room, and booked somewhere else straight away. The main doors were cracked and damaged, the windows had holes patched with tape, and there was no safe or proper storage, just four hangers. The bathroom was moldy and smelled unpleasant. I honestly don't know what else to say about it.

We had a really nice stay. The area is peaceful and quiet, with lovely sunsets, and the pool was nice as well. The staff were very friendly.

The grounds are kept up nicely and the view is beautiful, and the staff are kind. The setting and pool are pleasant, but I left disappointed with what we got for the price. We paid 35 euros for a superior double room, and the beds were hard, the tap barely flowed, there were no blankets, and housekeeping had to be requested. The room looked new with fresh white and blue paint, but the air conditioning either didn't work or was too cold. There was a kettle but no coffee. Those superior rooms are beside the bar, so music played from 7:45 a.m. until 10 p.m., on top of noise from neighbors on their terraces. Our door didn't shut properly and let air and wires through. Maybe a bungalow would be better, though at 45 euros a night I'm unsure it offers good value either. Paying more just raises expectations.
