The warmest welcome of my trip came from the very friendly woman at reception. When I explained the problems and asked for a quieter room without defects, she said nothing could be done because the rooms were all similar, but she offered a full refund right away so I could book elsewhere. I had reserved a superior double, but after checking in I left and found another place because the street and surrounding noise was so bad and several items were broken or didn't work. The room seemed fine at first, like the photos, but everything was basic, old, worn, and short on comfort. Although it was set to the side, road noise was the main drawback. The walls and door were paper-thin, so corridor and outside sounds came through. The bathroom was old, with an extremely loud fan that switched on with the light. The toilet seat was broken, so sitting down took care, and flushed water stayed in the toilet instead of draining. The mini shampoo and shower gel were the cheapest kind. The “safe” wasn't attached to furniture and weighed only about 150 g, so it could be carried away. It had no batteries and couldn't be used anyway.

We'd happily stay again. The hotel was quiet, a real plus, and very good value. Our spacious room was clean and comfortable. We booked one with just a fan but got air conditioning, which was great. It was a good spot between restaurants and bars in both directions, and not too far from the beach. Staff were lovely and helped book us a taxi to the pier. They always said hello when they saw us.

A great budget guesthouse with clean, comfortable rooms and really friendly, helpful staff. I had trouble with a boat ticket to koh lipe that I hadn't bought through them, but they still managed to sort it out for me. Thanks! There are some nice affordable restaurants nearby, and the sandy beach is just a couple of minutes away, with not too much coral or rocks. The pier is under 10 minutes away and easy to get to and from.

We only needed one night, and this place was just right. The room was spacious, clean, and had AC. Our welcoming host helped arrange a taxi pickup and checked our onward transfer.
