Sonia is a terrific host, full of character and happy to offer helpful island recommendations when you ask. It’s a quiet little place, and the rooms are cheap and cheerful, just right if you need somewhere to sleep and wash up.

I only planned on staying a week and ended up here for more than a month. Sonya is the nicest person you’ll meet in Thailand, and having such a friendly, helpful, happy host made the whole experience fun. The bungalows are good quality for the price, and the location is perfect. Do yourself a favour and stay a while!

Getting in and out is convenient, and the owner welcomes people in a friendly way. They don’t come across as a businessperson so much as someone who truly wants to host you wholeheartedly, making your time in Thailand feel safe, fun, and relaxing, without worry.

I waited about ten minutes at reception while looking for a place to stay. A woman was pressure washing the steps the whole time. When I asked if anyone was coming, she switched off the washer and gave me such an exaggerated dirty look that I thought she was joking. Then she yelled, "Did you check in? Check in online. You bother me too much!" I asked if I could see a room, and she turned the washer back on and repeated, "You bother me too much!" I only wanted to ask about a room. If she treats potential guests this rudely, I can’t imagine how she’d treat someone who had already paid.
