The entrance looked a little scary, but someone was always there to help. Inside, the resort is cozy and charming, and it’s close to the beach. The workers were lovely and helpful, the food was good, and the pool stayed clean. The AC, bathroom, TV, and tea machine all worked very well. Nothing to complain about. Thanks for the hospitality.

The views over Salad Beach were amazing, and the team were incredibly kind. I left my sunglasses behind, and they mailed them to my next hotel in Chiang Mai. I’d highly recommend this family-friendly place. The hotel taxi driver was also five stars, such a helpful, kind driver. I think his name was Nuinui? There’s a good, convenient restaurant on site and a billiards table for hanging out. Getting to the road by scooter can be tricky at night, and the hills are very steep, but the golf cart can shuttle you around and helps a lot. Avoid using their SUP rentals, which felt like a borderline safety hazard.

We stayed as a family of three with our four-year-old. The clean villas sit on a quiet corner of Salad Beach, with beautiful secluded views. It’s a nice, uncrowded beach, though the water’s rocky right in front of the property, so you need to walk about 100 yards to enjoy the beach. The main beach area is easy to reach on foot. The natural setting and seclusion were lovely, but we found the stay average and probably wouldn’t return to Koh Phangan for this property. The biggest issue for us was the steep slope where the villas are located. It made getting around difficult and potentially dangerous for a small child, and the listing should clearly say the property isn’t suitable for young children or anyone unable to hike a steep climb. We only learned this by email the day before arrival, when changing our booking wasn’t an option. The golf cart helped, but its service ended at 5 or 6 PM, leaving guests to manage the steep, dark terrain on their own afterward. Breakfast was a major disappointment. Despite the listing promising a "very good breakfast," there was no buffet, and the menu was very limited, with only two or three repetitive Thai dishes. Guests with breakfast included were locked into a rigid set menu, such as four or five fixed egg types with set sides. Asking for a change or anything else cost extra. The included coffee was very poor, and a better cup cost extra too. The pool looks nice and faces the beach, but it needs more cleaning and regular maintenance.

The hammock outside our room had incredible views. Breakfast was really tasty, with different treats each day, and the staff were great. We stayed for a week and enjoyed it.
