The setting and views are genuinely beautiful, but my six-night stay was a letdown after all the good reviews. It felt much more like a guesthouse than a resort, with very little service. Maintenance was a problem. The air conditioner dripped for two days before anyone fixed it, and our concerns weren't dealt with professionally. We also found the bathroom ventilator removed at one point. That made us feel unsafe, but it was brushed off. The common areas were often taken up by staff, so it didn't feel comfortable using them as a guest. The service had an unwelcoming feel. No one offered help with luggage, and some interactions came across as rude. At checkout, they tried to charge us for reasons that weren't clear. The location gives the place a lot of potential, but it needs better upkeep, clearer management, and a more guest-friendly approach.

The standard room had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom, though it wasn't ventilated well. There was a crack in the front door that bugs could get through. Outside, the seating space and clothes-drying area were roomy and really useful. Check-in was at 3pm, later than average, and they took two of us to the port at checkout for 300 baht. It's a nice family-run resort, with beach bungalows, a large pool and lots of places to sunbathe. Restaurants and a 7/11 are close by.

I loved how peaceful Dewshore was. Each room is in its own bungalow, so I couldn't hear noise from the neighbours, and the place is right on the beach. My room was spacious and really clean, and the owners and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Best place I stayed in Thailand, and I'd definitely recommend it.

For what we paid, this was an amazing hotel. The garden and pool area are beautiful, and the bungalow was clean and looked just like the online photos. We really enjoyed staying here.

The pool stayed clean the whole time, even with all the greenery around it. The resort itself is lovely and green, right beside the sea, and the location was great.
