Dreamville Koh Phangan.

Bungalow 7 was a great choice for anyone sensitive to noise, since it’s set away from the entrance and the first bungalow by the pool. I found this little place after the hotel I’d booked next door let me down, and it turned into a lovely surprise. There are about ten thoughtfully decorated bungalows, with a pool, balcony and even a kitchenette. Julián was warm and flexible. He had been planning to keep his last available room for an early check-in the next day, but we worked out a time and price together. The location is about ten minutes from the pier, with laundry and Pure relax massages next door. You might hear neighbors on their balconies in theory, but everyone was very considerate and I slept like a baby. It was the best of the three hotels I stayed in on Koh Phangan. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

You step into a jungle as soon as you arrive, even though the place is tucked into a peaceful, quiet area. The harbor, bars, beach, laundry, scooter rental and shops are all close by. The receptionist was friendly and helpful with everything.

The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into the resort and was really friendly. My room was spacious, and I hadn’t realized it came with a small kitchenette, so that was a nice surprise. There was also an electric mosquito repellent plugged in both the room and bathroom, which I appreciated. One of the best resorts I’ve stayed at. Highly recommend it.

The location made it easy to get around, with both the city and pier within walking distance, and the host was welcoming and friendly. The problem was the bed in Room 3. It felt like concrete, and I could barely get a proper night’s sleep. That made the stay a real disappointment, despite the good hospitality and convenient spot. 2/5 stars.
