Haad Tian Beach Resort

The spot right on the beach is amazing, and the pool area with its bar, patio, and hammocks is 10/10. The dogs are the sweetest too, I’m going to miss them so much 🥹 Give them all the scratches and treats for me if you stop by. We took a scooter from the resort to find food elsewhere because the restaurant was a bit pricey. Renting it was smooth, 1 000baht/5 days, and they didn’t inspect every tiny scratch when we returned it just to get extra money. They also left two free bottles of water at our door each morning and helped book a taxi to the pier for a fair 400baht for two. The staff are pure sunshine. We wish we could have stayed longer. A room here and a scooter are a great combo for exploring the whole island. I’d highly recommend it unless you plan to walk everywhere, because the nearby hills are a serious workout to climb up and down every day!

We felt completely at home here, and this was easily the best place we stayed during our Thailand trip. The rooms are cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the resort is beautifully arranged, with a lovely atmosphere throughout. There’s a small, beautiful beach right in front. The staff were warm and welcoming, the restaurant food was delicious, and the cocktails were excellent. When we decided to extend by one day on the spur of the moment, they handled it effortlessly. We’d wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The resort looked even better in person than it did in the photos. My girlfriend first showed it to me, and I told her we should book right away. The staff were kind and so helpful, always happy to chat and share local advice with first-time visitors. The bartender deserves a special mention for making some amazing cocktails. It was a little above my usual budget, but the service and atmosphere made it worth every penny. Thanks for having us. We’ll definitely be back next year for a longer stay.

The private beach and sunset views were great. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the service was excellent. I rented a scooter through the hotel, and when I returned it they didn’t even check it for damage like some rental companies do. I’d definitely come back.
