The bungalows have lovely Thai-style craftsmanship and artistic touches that give them character. Nature surrounds them, and the beach below is quiet and stunning. Waking up to the ocean and seeing the sunrise is unforgettable. It feels like both home and paradise, a real hidden gem you won't want to leave.

A stunning waterfall sits right by the beach, and there's plenty to do for an adventure. The restaurant also serves delicious food and drinks. Best of all, the views from the room are breathtaking. This place is a real hidden gem. Highly recommended!

Quiet mornings here are hard to forget: you can watch the sunrise from your bungalow over an untouched, deserted beach, or start the day with a refreshing swim beneath a jungle waterfall. Mai Pen Rai sits in a peaceful, secluded part of the island and gives you a rare, calming connection with nature. I've explored the island several times, and this is still the most picturesque and memorable place I've found. The team are warm and attentive, always ready to help, often with a cheeky smile and thoughtful local advice. The food is exceptional, and the views around you make every meal even better. It's the kind of place that stays in your mind long after the trip. Mai Pen Rai has a quiet magic to it. Once you've been, you'll find yourself thinking about when to return.

We had great views and privacy, and the people were warm. Snorkeling was decent if you can dive down about 5-6 meters, and the Mai Pen Rai restaurant is really good. This was the best place we've stayed, and we'd come back.
