Morning Star Resort

We’d definitely return. Our oceanfront cabin was lovely for coffee in the morning or watching the sunset from the porch. The gardens were nice, the pool crystal clear, and the staff friendly and helpful. There’s a good choice of breakfast dishes and a small restaurant onsite. We only ate breakfast there, so can’t comment on the other meals. It’s a small, quiet, family-run resort.

The food won me over almost as much as the peaceful setting. I loved the banana smoothie, and breakfast was included with a menu like you might find at a 5-star hotel or coffee club. My avocado toast with egg came on sourdough, with a generous amount of avocado and just the right crispness. The lady cooking cared so much, you could tell. Her garlic stir-fried chicken at dinner came with such a big piece of chicken, haha. I’m sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye or give you a hug. We didn’t talk much, but I felt connected through your food. I came here feeling like it was exactly my kind of holiday, and it was. It’s a small, lovely resort with a beachside pool, not many rooms, and loads of plants and gardens. My room was amazing, with the beach right in front of the bed. It was so quiet, and listening to the waves helped me sleep deeply. A real chance to recover after stressful work and the anxiety of ordinary workdays. I spent the whole day just enjoying the calm atmosphere at the resort. The room was super clean and the bed comfy. The guy at reception and his dad were helpful, and I felt the price was worth everything here. Hope I can come back soon. Thanks for everything. Love ❤️ 😍

The family looked after me so kindly while I was staying there. I had to leave for a couple of nights, and they kept my luggage until I came back. The little beach at the hotel is beautiful, and the place is really relaxing, especially for a walk at sunrise or sunset. Great experience. Thank you!

The seaside setting is nice, but the resort felt dull and lacking in life. We had a room close to the beach, second on the left from the beach, and the AC was very noisy at night. The room also left us feeling low. I wouldn’t choose the second beachfront room on the left.
