The family running this laid-back resort are so friendly, and I felt right at home. I loved the beach dogs and the beautiful sunsets. The Thai food was great, and kayaking at sunset felt magical. Can't wait to come back.

I rented by the month at a decent price, with air con, right on the beach in Baan Tai, Koh Phangan. The individual bungalows are laid back, and the rooms have good water. There’s no kitchen, just a mini fridge and closet. The beach is lovely and calm. At night Sabaii Resort has a good sound system if you want to dance, and First Villa has really good service from breakfast through dinner.

The place is really dirty, with bits of asbestos everywhere, and it seems to be falling apart. The people running it were very rude, so I wouldn't recommend going. There are plenty of other resorts on the island with kinder people.

A complete nightmare. We left after just one night. We were three female travelers, and another guest, a man around 50, was bothering us. The staff seemed unprepared, the beds weren't clean, and there were animals in the bathroom, including about 100 cockroaches and a snake in the toilet. The room looked nothing like the photos online. We politely asked to change rooms, and after 30 minutes they finally offered another option. The location wasn't the one shown online next to Harmony beach either, it was a 15-minute walk away. I wouldn't recommend it.

I really can't recommend this place. The owner was so rude that when I had a problem with my room, he told me, “You’re not happy? Take your money and leave now”.
