Richmond Guesthouse

Jack, the owner, greeted us with a smile each day and helped us get to the pier when we left. He was warm and genuine. The room was comfortable, with nice linen and pillows, and the air conditioning worked well. It's a good-value place, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Thanks, we'd happily recommend staying here.

The owner was so helpful and clearly cared about his guests. Whenever he saw us in the street, he'd wave and ask if we needed anything or had any issues. He also helped when we had questions about laundry, scooters and taxis. We loved our time at Richmond Guesthouse. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it's a great spot for the Full Moon Party.

The room was clean and nice, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. A handy detail: reception is across the road at Richmond travel agency, where you can also book your next transport. Great location.

I left early because the electric pole near the hotel rattled so loudly that I couldn't fall asleep. Before checking in, I'd asked the owner about outside noise, and he assured me there wasn't any. The owner charged me 3,000 baht, then kept my 500 baht deposit and stopped replying. That really upset me. The price doesn't match the quality, and I can't recommend this place.
