Seaboard Bungalows

Wednesday’s party was really fun, and the Italian owner was a lot of fun too. The sunsets are lovely. The place is a bit out of the way, though, and taxis on the island seem to operate like a cartel, so they’re a total rip-off. I’d really recommend getting your own transport. There were daily power cuts for about an hour, but that seemed to affect most of the island.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms felt dated and in need of renovation, and the beds were so hard they were almost like concrete. I struggled to get a good night’s sleep. The hotel manager was unfriendly and came across as bossy, which made things uncomfortable from the start. There’s no regular room service either, it only happens if you specifically ask, which isn’t what I’d expect at this price. The hotel is extremely overpriced for what it offers. Nearby hotels have much better prices.

We spent two nights here in October 2025 in a beachfront bungalow. The room and view were nice, and there were some restaurants, bars, and convenience shops nearby. The stay was okay, but getting in touch with staff was the low point. At check-in, a European gentleman wasn’t very welcoming and gave us little information about the property, the area, or check-out. There was an information manual in the room. The bar, restaurant, and reception area stayed closed for both nights, so we couldn’t reach anyone there with questions or concerns. At check-out, reception was still closed. We followed the WhatsApp instructions in the manual and in reviews we’d read, but never got a reply.

The owner and staff made us feel very welcome, which we especially appreciated. Seaboard Bungalows also has a fantastic location, an amazing beach, and lovely coffee shops and restaurants close by. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
