We couldn’t sleep because the rooms were so noisy, and the AC wasn’t working properly. They also smelled bad, probably from mould, and were in really poor condition. The owner was rude and had no manners. Her husband was lovely, but she was in charge, so there wasn’t anything he could change.

I booked a house for the full month about two weeks before check-in, paid the whole amount upfront, and gave the owner a large deposit. A few days before I was due to arrive, she stopped replying. When I got there, she said they were overbooked. Another employee told me she already knew, but had expected them to finish an extra house. It was full moon night, and I couldn’t find anywhere else on the island, so I had to take a private boat to Samui just to have somewhere to sleep. She initially refused to return the month’s payment and deposit, saying she had no money. I got the stay payment back that evening, but only received the deposit weeks later, after I said I’d report her to the police. I still have screenshots of our messages in case she tries to deny it. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Don’t stay there.

The staff were welcoming and the stay was comfortable. The road noise was the one downside.

The room was simple and very clean. The air conditioning was broken at first, but we told them and they fixed it right away. After that, everything was great. The receptionist was really sweet, and we enjoyed staying here.
