The room fans really need replacing because they don’t handle the daytime heat well. The locks also don’t feel very secure, so keep an eye on valuables. Even so, we felt safe, especially with someone always around the complex. The staff were friendly, and the location is convenient: right on the beach, around a 10-15 minute walk from the Full Moon Party area, with a 7-Eleven nearby. We didn’t sleep much, mostly because we were nervous about the lizards roaming freely and accidentally bringing one home in our luggage. We also got an unexpected “concert” from some dogs.

The woman at reception was very nice, which is why I’m giving two stars instead of one. But $250 for one night felt crazy, even during the full moon party, for such a tiny, awful room. The bed was terrible, and a huge gap under the front door let the motorbikes’ noise in all night.

We barely spent time in the room because the resort is so beautiful, though the rooms could use some work. The beach is lovely and relaxed, the restaurant is great, and the staff are kind and accommodating. They even brought us things we hadn’t asked for to make the stay nicer. Massages, laundry, and other useful services are available for a fee.

I’m back for a second stay, and this is still my favourite place in Koh Phangan. It’s right on the beach, with a beautiful pool and hangout area, and the food is great. The owner from France is really cool and welcoming. Highly recommend it.

The view is great and the swimming pool is amazing, but the rooms really let the place down. The bungalow is a tiny room that smelled of paint, has no AC, and costs far too much. Service wasn’t great either, and there was hardly anyone around when we needed help. They also didn’t provide transport or help with luggage when we arrived from the ferry, which many resorts in Thailand do.
