The Nidhra

Joe made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He's such a cheerful, kind host, and the rest of the experience on the island was memorable too. The location worked well for us, with the beach and tasty restaurants nearby. We felt safe even at night. Since the island is big, renting a scooter from the hotel was useful for exploring. Our room was roomy and clean, with a balcony and drying rack. The bed was the most comfortable I've had on this trip, with a seriously soft, high-quality mattress. I could work remotely easily thanks to the fast wifi. The pool was deep enough for a proper swim, deeper than the others we'd tried nearby, and there were lots of sunbeds. Reception also has a coffee machine for espresso throughout the day. The coffee was really good. For an americano, just pick an espresso or double espresso and add hot water from the machine.

We left our camera behind one night, and it was back with us first thing in the morning. The staff were so kind and helpful about it. The sea is right beside the hotel, just a two-minute walk from our room. There’s a pool as well, and beach towels are provided. The beach was quiet and almost empty, lovely for relaxing. We really recommend this place if you want peace, comfort, and great service.

Run by genuinely lovely people, this peaceful place has a gorgeous pool and big, clean rooms. The beach is just 50m away through a little glade. Moped hire is cheap, and there’s free coffee. 10/10.

The staff were amazing, and the pool was nice. Rooms are simple but clean. Good restaurants and 7eleven are nearby.
