My booking was confirmed, but when I arrived and showed it to the people at reception, they refused to let me use it. The three men you can see around the bar area were in charge. They said they were only taking walk-ins for a minimum of three nights, at triple the price Booking or ágorda was selling the rooms for. I felt they were scammers trying to take advantage of me. One of them got violent and pushed me out of the establishment. The people in the picture were all involved. They looked very high, stoned, and desperate for money. Dangerous, violent people, and a last-minute booking cancellation. Please stay away and don’t let them take advantage of you.

We left after our first night and switched hotels. The room smelled strongly of mold, so badly that a German man who works in that field came in and confirmed it wasn’t an overreaction. He’d first thought we were exaggerating, but said the room was unfit to live in. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The place also turns into a club at night. The music was extremely loud until 1:30, and my friend and I felt like we were sleeping in a techno club toilet instead of a hotel. After that first night, we asked the two staff who had checked us in for another room because of the mold and noise. No chance. We joked that the first was called “I’m not the owner,” the second “Fully booked,” and the third “I don’t know.” Funny sounding, but that’s what happened. I’d never spend another night in that club toilet. The staff were insanely unfriendly when we complained, even though we were respectful and only wanted another room. They called us names like “ee hia,” which you can google, it’s the worst Thai curse word. The place is an absolute joke of a “hotel.” If you want to feel your belongings might get stolen while you’re at the beach, feel free to check in.

The room looked nothing like the photos and was in poor condition. Only one light worked, there were ants in our bed, and we had just 2 single blankets to cover ourselves. Mold on the mirror made it impossible to see ourselves in it. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a lively place to stay if you like a vibrant atmosphere, rather than somewhere super quiet. Nearby there’s a cute walking street with a bar that has live music, as well as places to eat, and some great beaches are close by. We had a double room, which was a good size, and found everything very clean and nicely arranged. The owner and the other stuff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Great vibe!
