I like this simple, inexpensive place with its private setting. The scenery isn’t great because of where it’s located, and there are lots of bugs.

I took a hot summer break here for just two days, November 26-27, 2023. The reviews praised the cleanliness, value, nice rooms, and private atmosphere, so I decided to try it. They were right about the value, and the service was excellent. They even provided a krathong (floating lantern) during my stay. It’s not directly on the beach, but only a few meters away, and it feels very private. A lovely place to relax and unwind. The stay lived up to the reviews, 10/10 from me, highly recommended.

The staff were so kind, even letting us check in early on arrival day. The place was spotless, with modern loft-style rooms, and it was easy to find near the beach. Breakfast and a motorbike were included too. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Koh Samet.

From this hilltop spot, the view is lovely, though the sea isn't clearly visible. It's just before Saeng Kaew Beach and close to the market, so finding food is easy. The owner was very welcoming and made us feel at home. They can help arrange seafood and provide a motorbike and BBQ grill. I think there are three rooms, if I remember right, and larger groups can rent the whole house.
