I was mesmerized every day by the views of the sea, Samui, nearby islands and the Big Buddha. I even liked seeing the planes come in just above eye level, though that won’t be for everyone. The apartment was on the top, third floor, with no elevator, and had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and kitchen. Windows on three sides and the balconies gave it amazing panoramic views. It was a wonderful week at Anam Cara, and I didn’t want to leave. The bed, couches, big bathtub, decorations and kitchen were all enjoyable, and even just looking out through those big windows was a pleasure. I didn’t use the pool. Pong and William, who run the place, were friendly and helpful. I’d be delighted to stay again.

We got a very decent rate for the night, perhaps because we booked at the last minute. The host was welcoming and very nice. The apartment is in a quiet area, so there weren’t noise issues, and it’s a short walk to the main road. There’s also a nearby ferry point for trips to another island. Having the pool right in front of the apartment was great, and the beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

We only had one night in June 2025 and wished we could have stayed longer. The apartment was excellent, and the kids loved the small pool. It was a great location, with a few restaurants and bars nearby and just minutes from the airport. We also got a great price.

The owners were really nice and accommodating, and the area was close to everything while still feeling quiet. The place looked much better in person than it did in the photos. Great stay.

Sattaya and the crew were lovely and incredibly helpful. We had a wonderful family stay at Anam Cara, especially for the price. Our clean, well-equipped apartment was on the third floor, so we had spectacular views. Thanks for a great stay!
