The grounds were beautiful, peaceful, and chilled, and the rooms were decorated to a very high standard. The food was amazing too. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Wow, what a stunning hotel. Definitely a must, thoroughly recommend, and I'll definitely be coming back 👌

We felt looked after and supported throughout our seven-night stay at Baan Haad Ngam Boutique Resort & Villa on Koh Samui. We were two adults and a baby, and the whole team welcomed us warmly and stayed exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our daughter had a fever for three days, so things were challenging for us as parents. She couldn't eat everything, and we needed to make some of her food ourselves. Cooking in the room wasn't officially allowed, but the hotel and restaurant found a caring solution and let us prepare fresh baby food, porridge. We really appreciated their flexibility and understanding. During a severe storm, water came through our room ceiling. The hotel tried to fix it right away, but couldn't fully resolve the issue within a day. After a day trip, we were pleasantly surprised to learn they'd upgraded our room at no charge for the last three nights. It was a generous, professional gesture. Even with those difficulties, we always felt supported. That's what outstanding hospitality means to us. We highly recommend the resort, including for families with young children, and would happily come back. Thanks to the whole team for a memorable stay.

The hotel restaurant is top notch, though a little pricey, and the property is beautifully presented. Our room was large, modern, and clean, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. It's right on the beach, with 3-4 restaurants and massage nearby. The main action is probably less than a five-minute motorcycle ride away, and the airport is only 10 minutes away. Very good overall.

The property itself is attractive and well placed, but our stay at Baan Haad Ngam, Koh Samui was stressful because of the way the staff dealt with us. When we arrived, the person taking our bags broke my suitcase handle. I only brought it up at checkout as feedback, hoping it might help with staff training. Felix, Pancake, and other front desk staff responded by shouting that we should have reported it sooner. It felt completely unnecessary and upsetting. There were repeated delays with a water clog in our room. We called several times, but service came late and made us miss our plans that evening. The clog happened again the next morning and slowed checkout too. We had already told them we would be 15 minutes late, then waited another 15 minutes for the luggage cart. Even so, staff blamed us for checking out late without recognizing their own delays. Water arrangements were also confusing. At night we were told to buy drinking water from 7/11, with no mention that the hotel could provide it for a charge. We would have paid or planned ahead if we had known. Later, water was given during the day as a “complimentary goodwill gesture,” which made the communication seem inconsistent. Our airport van was booked for 5:00 PM and we were in the lobby on time. One person in our group briefly needed the washroom, and staff again shouted that they had to collect another airport guest. That led to another needless argument and left everyone tense. On the departure day, it was rude and out of line. The repeated shouting and blame were deeply distressing for all of us. Staff showed poor communication, little courtesy or accountability, and aggressive behavior. Despite the lovely property, the guest handling ruined what might have been a good stay. I would avoid it. There are other Koh Samui hotels where guests are treated with basic respect.
