Baan Hinta

Gift and her team are what made this villa special. They were amazing, and we didn't have to lift a finger. The personal chef did a wonderful job too, with delicious, plentiful food. The architecture is beautiful, built around large rocks, and the pool looks out over Lamai beach. I loved the villa, though the beds were rock hard. The beach itself isn't anything special, but looking at it and listening to it was peaceful. Thanks, Luxe Nomad!

Gift, the head service person, and her team were excellent. Gift did her best to make whatever we needed happen, and the team were the reason we stayed. Without them, we'd have moved out on the second day. The infinity pool is beautiful and gives the place a luxury feel. The villa itself felt midrange, despite luxury prices and expectations. It's old, with broken or scratched tiles, paint problems, doors that don't close properly, a peeling mirror in my room, and bad squeaking. The beach was shallow and rocky, so we couldn't get into the water. For a company proud of its luxury villas, this needs extensive renovation. Thank you for choosing such an excellent team.

After 8 days at the villa and around Koh Samui, it was genuinely sad to say goodbye. Gift, the villa manager, ran a brilliant team, and nothing seemed too much trouble. They met every wish with a smile and a real desire to help. The chef was outstanding, serving delicious food that was beautifully presented. It's a well equipped villa in a great spot overlooking the sea, and it was perfect for a family getaway. We'd love to return soon.

Just relaxing in the pool and taking in the view is enough to make this villa amazing. Gift, the villa manager, and her team were so attentive, and the in house chef was excellent. I'd highly recommend a stay at baan Hinta.
