Bang Po Hut

What stood out most was the kindness of the staff. I left my shorts behind, and they washed and dried them, then took them to the pier to be shipped back to me. They wouldn't accept any money for doing it. The property is beautiful, with a relaxed feel, and I'd gladly stay here again.

The owner was really friendly, and the accommodation was superb, the best we had in Thailand. Their self-roasted coffee tasted fantastic, and the massage they offer was great too. Scooter rental is available. I'd definitely come back.

This was such a relaxing place, and the owner clearly takes a lot of pride in it. The gardens are amazing, full of greenery, with an adorable little pet pig and chickens. Our garden-view room was larger than I expected, very private, and had a full outdoor kitchen. The fridge was freezing cold, the AC worked well, and there was a stocked minibar at reasonable prices if you didn't want to drive to 711. There's undercover parking for cars and motorbikes, plus a little cafe serving breakfast and cocktails. The owner is super responsive on whatsapp, and you can book directly with her there. It's a great option for the quieter side of Koh Samui, around a ten-minute walk or two-minute motorbike ride from the beach. The rooms are so clean and feel new. We stayed two nights, but could easily have spent two weeks. I can't recommend it enough.

Bang Po Hut has excellent staff, a great location, and is very clean. The houses are cozy and set in a well organized garden. The AC worked perfectly, and it was really quiet both day and night. The beach is immaculate, and this is one of the island's best areas if you don't want to feel exhausted. Renting a scooter is a good idea; without one, your stay might be ruined.
