Coffee Island - Hostel

Inside it’s calm, clean, and air-conditioned, with plenty of seats to take a break from the busy area outside. Coffee Island is close to Nathon Pier, so it works well before or after a ferry, or while waiting for transport. The coffee is good, and they also have cold drinks and light bites. Staff were friendly and quick, and the relaxed feel made it a comfortable place to recharge. Nothing flashy, just a reliable café in Nathon, especially useful when arriving on Koh Samui or heading back to the pier.

While we waited for our boat, the staff were helpful, and the waiter boy was especially sweet and welcoming. We had pizza and dessert, both nice. It was a little pricier than usual, but no big deal. I’m leaving a comment because of how kind he was, especially with so many bad comments about such a chill place.

I popped in for a quick beer while out walking. The large Chang was 135 baht, reasonably priced, and came ice cold in a chilled glass. It was before noon and almost empty, just me and another table, so I can’t really judge the atmosphere. I imagine it gets good and noisy later.

There’s lots of room to sit, and the service was exceptional. I got the full breakfast, which filled me up, and I liked that it came with sausage. Prices are mid-range, and it’s easy to keep an eye on the ferry from here. Decent option, neither the worst nor the best.
