Resort Fair House Villas & Spa

We had a very nice holiday and would gladly return. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and the pool in our villa was exceptional. It was cleaned daily, while the courtyard was swept and the plants watered. We had a few different maids while our usual one was off, and they were all great. Fon? looked after us especially well and deserves a 🙏👍. The villa itself was wonderful, with lots of storage, a large courtyard with sunbeds, a sala with daybeds, and a pool about 4m by 9m. We've stayed in many pool villas, usually with pools around 3m by 6m, so this one was big enough for a proper swim. I only used the main pool for Aquafit. Breakfast was nice, with buffet options plus made-to-order dishes from a very helpful cook. Alongside the usual juices, you could order from nine cold teas and coffees. The three young waitresses, Aern, Game and Praewa, were great, as were all the staff. Hotel meals were fine, though we usually ate out to support the other places nearby. The nearest restaurant is three minutes away, Tops supermarket is a 10-minute walk, restaurants toward Fisherman's Village start at 18 minutes, Garden Restaurant, our favorite, is 20 minutes, and Fisherman's Village is 35 minutes away. The hotel sits between Nae Nam and Bo Phut, and we often walked toward Bo Phut because there were lots of restaurants on the way to Fisherman's Village.

The grounds, gardens, villas, pool, and dining areas were all well maintained. The staff were fantastic from check-in to check-out, from housekeeping and the pool team to the dining staff. Special thanks to Way, DaDa our housekeeper, and Boss, who arranged dinner outside the resort and checked that everything was going well. The family has run Fair House for 30 years, and it's about a 20-minute taxi ride from Chaweng. Our sea-view villa and large deck were lovely, apart from the noise from the kitchen exhaust fan below us. Food at the restaurant was so good we didn't need to go elsewhere. The pool was great, with a swim-up bar, and the clear ocean was perfect for swimming or kayaking. I highly recommend the resort.

The food really stood out. We usually seek out local street stalls for an authentic Thai meal, but the restaurant here was so good and authentic that we ate there often. If you've traveled 11 hours to taste real Thai food, you won't be disappointed. Breakfast was extra klasse, with lots of choice and top quality. We stayed in a Beachfront Pool Villa at Fairhouse Villas, and the whole place was clean, well organized, and run to a high standard. Since we stayed more than five nights, Boss was assigned as our Guest Experience Host. He was available on WhatsApp whenever we had questions or needed help, which made everything easy and stress-free. The team was friendly and focused on guests. We especially appreciated the Restaurant Supervisor, whose name we unfortunately missed. Even with a big team, he checked on guests personally to make sure they were happy. On departure day, the Hotel Manager surprised us by driving us to the ferry because we had booked the Beachfront Villa. He asked for feedback along the way and talked about ways to improve guest satisfaction. You can see how much they care. We'd love to return to this high-end hotel where every employee seems committed to making guests happy.

I spent three nights at Fair House and really enjoyed the stay. The welcome and hospitality made the experience even better, and the host took great care of me, including helping me book tours at the last minute. There was a large beachfront area with a big pool and pool bar, so I could choose between the sea and the pool. I also enjoyed the watersports, including kayaking. The facilities were very nice.
