Green Canyon Resort

The owners, Mrs Gaga and Natalie, made a lasting impression. They helped with all our questions, gave us directions and great tips on places to visit, and Mrs Gaga spent plenty of time arranging a day trip for us, even booking it on our behalf while we were out. The whole team were friendly, genuine, and always available to help. The room was great, spotless, and very well maintained, as was the rest of the hotel. We loved the outdoor pool and wonderful gardens, which a gardener was always looking after. My first stay in Thailand was here, and the hospitality was memorable. I'd love to visit again. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and small, but had everything we needed. We stayed two nights and would come back if we visit Lamai again. It was cozy and peaceful away from the main traffic noise. We sat in the garden, and the mosquito coil came in handy. January was breezy and pleasant. It's a good base for walking or trekking up to the Overlap stones. The owners were friendly, and their dogs and cat were lovely.

The rooms are tiny, but they were all we needed, and the place was quiet and relaxing. The pool is well maintained, the facilities are cute, and the beach is very close. We enjoyed long walks along the beach to Lamai central area. They brought water bottles daily and cleaned the room regularly. One thing felt a little odd: the place seems family run, and the family were often gathered around reception for dinners or other get-togethers. It was the holiday period, so I can understand it, but it gave us more of a private family home feeling than a resort focused on guests.

Recently spent a few nights at this lovely place, and we felt comfortable, respected, and well cared for the whole time. The fan bungalow was super clean and well equipped. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was calm and soothing, with a really positive feel. We'd gladly come back, and highly recommend it.
