The pool was a good size, with both shallow and deep sections, and the place stayed quiet day and night. It's only a short walk to the beach and nearby bars and restaurants. Our room was perfect for the price: big, comfortable beds, a clean bathroom with good facilities, and air conditioning in good condition. The shower had a steady flow of hot water. They cleaned daily and left fresh towels, water, tea, and coffee, so the room always smelled nice and felt clean, which we've had trouble finding elsewhere. Great hotel, friendly staff, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I stayed here for nearly two weeks and loved it. The staff were really friendly, the room was cleaned every day, and the pool was great. The beach is around a 12-minute walk away, or three minutes by scooter, which was no problem for me. I'd happily stay again!

The pool was a big plus whenever the sea had high waves. It was clean and not too cold. Shops and restaurants were nearby too, and the sea was a pleasant little walk away. We spent two weeks here with our child, and everything was perfect. The lady of the house was so kind and helpful, as were the staff, who cleaned and brought water every day. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. I almost cried on the last day, and my daughter did cry. I really recommend it for families.

The reception service was great, and the rooms are pretty nice. But after cleaning, they forgot to leave us towels, and there were ants on the sink. It's close to Lamai beaches, though a lot of the main sites are far away.

My family and I fell in love with Susan, the cat belonging to the lady's nieces. We were staying at a villa at the top of the street and walked by Hathai House every day. The woman who looks after the rental was absolutely lovely and really made the place stand out. She never minded when we stopped by to say hello to Susan. We already miss you, and I wish I could remember her name. Love from the Canadians, Jon, Michelle and Owen. P.S. Please say hi to Susan and the other lovely lady at the BT House. 😊
