ibis Samui Bophut

My friend and I only meant to stay one night, but liked it so much that we extended. The rooms are clean and modern, with beautiful sunrise views, and there’s a gym, pool table and a nice pool area. The hospitality felt warm throughout, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice. It was great value for money, and I’d definitely return. The beach is right out front, making mornings peaceful. Fisherman’s Village, with its cafés and bars, is nearby, and there’s a 7/11 and pharmacy close by too. For me, this is one of the most comfortable places to stay in Koh Samui, a real 10/10.

The rooms are a little small, but at this price it’s hard to find much better. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You can borrow games, use the pool table in the lobby, visit the small gym or do your laundry in the self-service room. The beach location is lovely, and the pool area has snacks, a bar and a restaurant. The breakfast buffet is fine too.

It’s about a 15-minute walk to the night market and Fisherman's village, with plenty of good food and drink options close by. We really enjoyed the direct access to the beach, the fire shows and the excellent tour company based in the lobby. There’s also self-service laundry. It’s an Ibis, so it has what you need for a comfortable stay: clean rooms, a good breakfast and all the basic facilities. It isn’t fancy.

The big pool area was lovely for relaxing, and I appreciated the two complimentary bottles of water every day. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and they offered me a complimentary late check-out. Breakfast had an excellent selection of local and international food. I had a wonderful stay.
