The pool was great, and the food was lovely. Everyone working across the property was adorable, helpful, smiley, chatty, fun, and a little silly. I had a really nice week here. It’s a six-floor condo building with both nightly visitors and people staying by the month. The rooms are clean, up to date, and perfectly adequate, though nothing fancy. Value is the key: my five stars for the room are relative, it isn’t a five-star room, but it’s perfect for the price. Get above the third floor and the views are amazing, with mountains on one side and the gulf on the other. The location worked fine for me. A scooter ride gets you to beach road in five minutes, and the main ring road is seconds away, with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets large and small, petrol, takeaways, and everything else you need. I honestly can’t think of anything bad to say.

The bathtub was a real highlight, such a lovely bit of comfort and luxury. I had a very comfortable, pleasant stay at Joy Residence, Koh Samui. The rooms were spacious and well kept, and the location made getting around convenient and easy. It’s peaceful too. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Koh Samui.

I spent a few months at Joy Residence and had a great time. Manager Airee was incredibly kind, and her assistant was one of the loveliest, most helpful people I met there. Everyone else was warm and friendly too, from the cleaning staff to the night guard. My large studio was comfortable and simply furnished, with a distant view of the water and mountains. It had a semi-equipped kitchenette, and weekly cleaning made things convenient. The large outdoor pool was a wonderful bonus. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by, the beach is about a 20-minute walk, and the mall is around 30 minutes away. A perfect place for a relaxed long-term stay in Koh Samui.

I spent 6 weeks here and found it clean, well kept, and great value. The pool was a good size, and having a table and chairs on the balcony made breakfast there really nice. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I hired a scooter from them at a great price. Thoroughly recommend.
