When my delayed flight made me miss the last ferry to Ko Phangan, I was travelling solo and panicking on my way to the Full Moon Party. Dang stayed past the end of his shift to help me get one of their last rooms for the night. The staff were great, and they helped me book the next morning’s ferry, a walk of only 3-5 minutes at most. I felt safe travelling alone, and this was just what I needed in a last-minute bind. The room wasn’t anything special, but it was surprisingly clean. The bed was huge and comfortable, the air conditioning worked really well, and I even had a nice view. The fridge didn’t work very well, and a few tiny bugs were drawn to its top, though I know that can happen near water.

Arthur, the manager, is a great guy and really helpful. The restaurant has an epic view, and its cheap eggs Benedict may be the best I can remember. Great value for the money.

The bed is big and it’s cheap, and I suppose the location is okay. That’s about all I can say for it. I’d only stay here if I were getting the ferry. There are better places pretty much anywhere.

The bed was the biggest I’ve ever seen, and it might be fine if you just need somewhere to sleep before a flight or ferry. But the room seemed like a renovated office, with huge windows facing the road and lots of noise. The sliding door didn’t feel secure, there was only a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom, and the shower drain was blocked.
