Beachfront and surrounded by nature, Vikasa is also well placed for exploring Koh Samui and the nearby islands. We found a great balance of yoga, downtime, and discovery here. From the first moment, the place had a deep, authentic energy that felt special. The staff were kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout, and the yoga teachers were outstanding. They communicated well, brought impressive experience and professionalism, and offered classes suitable for beginners through to more advanced practitioners. I stayed here for a longer visit two years ago and had a wonderful time. This time Francesca and I fell in love with the place all over again, and it even surpassed those memories. We left feeling joyful and grateful for such an intense, restorative stay. We’ll certainly return, and highly recommend Vikasa to anyone wanting quality yoga in a magical part of Koh Samui. The part I keep thinking about is sitting on the balcony of my prana cabana, looking out over the beach, listening to birds and waves, and sometimes spotting fireflies. It was such a lovely place to slow down and meditate. I came to Vikasa in October for the Recharge personal program, and the daily private sessions with Kara gave me exactly the guidance I needed. She was wise and made me feel safe throughout. Eva was also there whenever I had questions and helped me feel at ease. The program includes all the yoga classes at the White Prana Sala, too. The food was incredible, especially the vegan ice cream, which I happily had every day. Staff were welcoming from the start and really went out of their way to make my stay special. There are lots of stairs, though I found them a good warmup before practice, and the infinity pool was always there for a cool dip. I often had it all to myself. And Sally's massages were HEAVEN. I'd absolutely recommend a Vikasa personal program for a week focused on your practice and yourself.

What made the 300 HR YTT stand out for me was the way the teaching encouraged us to think for ourselves. We heard different perspectives, even ones that conflicted, instead of being told there was only one right answer. That made the learning feel respectful and empowering, and I could take in what resonated with me. Having teachers with varied practice styles was insightful, too, and will influence how I teach. The training was thoughtfully put together, with a clear purpose to each class. I stayed a whole month in a Lotus Pad. The room was simple and comfortable, with the basics covered, and the walk up roughly 100 stairs to the yoga shala and restaurant came with ocean views, birds, and a lovely breeze. The pool is gorgeous, and the hidden beach is worth the walk. Life Café became a warm place to gather, with consistently tasty, nourishing food. The staff made me feel at home and knew us by name. Special thanks to Chu and Nway 🤍. Being there with like-minded people led to close bonds, and I’m sure some friendships will last a lifetime.

We were visiting from a cruise ship and booked the Healthy Half Day package. First came a one-hour Flow class in the white shala, then the buffet at Cafe lite. You can also order eggs a la carte with sides as part of it, so I had an omelette with roast potatoes and baby corn along with a few buffet dishes. After a one-hour massage, we added a facial.
