My confirmed reservation was cancelled as a no-show on the morning of my arrival, even though I had confirmed in writing that I’d arrive on 31 December around 16:00. This was well before check-in, during New Year’s when accommodation options are very limited. At first I was told the booking was cancelled and there was no other room. There was no apology or offer of help. It took several phone calls and a lot of persistence from me to resolve it. The owner was curt and dismissive on those calls and showed little interest in helping, which made an already stressful situation worse, especially when I pointed out how unacceptable a cancellation at that stage was. Even after my stay, the hotel gave no explanation, apology or gesture of goodwill. The way this was handled showed very poor professionalism and customer care.

Mina found me the best room and handled a customer service issue really well. The rooms downstairs felt lighter and more spacious to me. It’s a cozy, nice resort with great staff and a convenient location. I don’t ride a bike, but Fisherman’s Village promenade and the evening market are within walking distance. There are also a few cafes nearby with great views. The cafe on site has some of the island’s best seafood, and the sushi was fresh and great quality. Korean cooking is fun too, and there are lovely little puppies on site, including a pamaranian. Happy stay!

For 70 euro, this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. My room had no towels, and even after I walked all the way to reception, which was in a random cafe, to ask, nobody brought any. There was a marijuana-like smell in and around the room, and it didn’t feel safe. The furniture was old and the shower was broken. I don’t recommend staying there.

The place is very well priced for the space and amenities, though it’s a 10-minute walk outside of town. I wish there were a WhatsApp contact. I saw plenty of availability online, turned up around 9pm on the night I wanted to stay, and paid less at the front desk.

The welcome was friendly, the rooms and pool were clean, and the location was pleasant and close to attractions. A shame they don’t serve breakfast.
