Nora Buri Resort & Spa

The staff made the stay feel special. When I booked, I mentioned my wife's birthday and arranged a private dinner for that day. Without any further discussion, the team left “happy birthday” spelled in rose petals on the bed after cleaning, plus a delicious piece of cake in our fridge. The spa was peaceful and beautifully set up, and the two ladies who treated us did such a good job that we felt fantastic afterward. We used the gym most days, though some of its equipment could use a refresh. We only tried the hill pool, and the view from it was stunning. Our room had loads of space, a spotless bathroom, and amazing decor across the whole site. Breakfast was good, with some options changing each day. Much of the hotel is on a hill, so people with mobility limitations may find it difficult, but the staff's buggy service can take you where you need to go. Everyone was sweet, attentive, and incredibly helpful. We had nothing else we didn't like, and the stay was fantastic.

We had one brief power cut in the evening, around 5 minutes, but it wasn't a problem. Other than that, I honestly can't think of a complaint. The pools were lovely and well kept, and the staff were attentive and made an effort to help us have a great stay. We loved our time at Nora Buri Resort. Everything felt perfect.

The beach was great for picking up sea glass and sea ceramic, and we had a lovely view with birds and squirrels around if we got up early enough. The gold buggy staff were quick to collect us and take us around the resort, which added a special charm. Aung from ‘the barge’ and Lester from ‘Manora’ breakfast bar were especially friendly and accommodating. The food was lovely, and so were the massages and the staff at Andona spa. Housekeeping worked diligently and kept our living quarters clean and smelling lovely. From the time we arrived at Nora Buri resort and spa, the staff were exceptional. We'd recommend it to our family and friends and hope we can come back one day!

The resort is well cared for, though you can see some age and wear. Our room was roomy but could have used a coffee table and a lounge or easy chairs. The staff were absolutely fantastic and really made the holiday for us. Beam, Mook and Aum deserve a special mention for looking after us with such knowledge, warmth, and wonderful smiles. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool area, with its breezes and views, and the great restaurants. A very pleasant holiday.
