Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort

The team and surroundings were fabulous, the food was nice, and the rooms were very well kept. Breakfast was lovely, the location was great, and there’s some parking for cars. There’s also a small gym, a games room for kids with a pool table, and a slide at one of the pools. Another pool near the bedrooms is shaded because of where it is, but still lovely to use. The main big pool is across the road, though two lovely men will flag down traffic to help you cross. The pools are really nice. The beach in front of the hotel area is small, but you can walk further along to find more white sand. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to the whole team, they were so friendly.

We left with full hearts and would be very happy to come back. Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort offers peace, beauty, warmth, and real hospitality, and we highly recommend it. We had an unforgettable stay in Lamai. From arrival, the resort felt peaceful, elegant, and beautifully cared for. The gardens, flowers, white design, cleanliness, and calm atmosphere all made it easy to relax and feel happy. The resort is beautiful, but the staff made the biggest difference. Their service was warm, attentive, professional, generous, and full of care. Every interaction made us feel welcome and valued. A special thank you to the Voyager 47 Club Lounge team, especially Sao. Her warmth, kindness, attention to detail, and personal care made the stay truly memorable. She remembered little things and greeted us with a smile each day, making this feel like much more than a hotel stay.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Outrigger hotel if you’re in the area. Town is about a 15 min walk, which we didn’t mind, or a Grab ride costs around 300 or 400bht, which is cheap. The main pool is across the road, but security helped control traffic, so getting over was easy. The staff were friendly and great, remembering our names and making us feel welcome from the start. The main problem was housekeeping. Our room wasn’t cleaned by 3pm on two of the three days, even though we’d gone to breakfast and the pool by 9am and expected it to be done by the time we returned at 3 or 4pm. I had to find a maid cart to get TP and ask for clean towels. On the third day, I found a housekeeper early and kindly asked for the room to be cleaned, and she did it.

Rooms are big, clean, and have good aircons 👌🏻. The balcony’s a little smaller than I’m used to, but does the job. There’s a quiet pool, plus a family pool across the road. Crossing is a bit inconvenient, though traffic wardens help you over, and the sea view is amazing, worth the hassle. Breakfast has Planet options. The staff are so attentive and friendly, and Mui was brilliant at looking after us and making us feel welcome every morning. A great spot for a quiet getaway if you’re coming to lamai.
