Joey made the Rum Tasting Class at Explorar so much fun. He walked us through Koh Samui rums and the cocktail-making, with plenty of information, jokes, politeness, and smiles. I really appreciated the energy he put into it and would recommend taking the class with him at Explorar Resort. The resort is also lovely, with a great view, pool, beach, and interior. It's quiet and peaceful, and the helpful, polite staff made us feel good at heart. A must visit for a relaxed holiday.

We spent a week here and had such a good time. The staff and service were lovely, and the pool was superb. The gym had all the equipment we needed, too. We had a blast at the pizza class, and the rum tasting with Harry was amazing. He's very knowledgeable and made it a lot of fun. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks for such a great stay 💜

The water was crystal clear for morning swims, and the food and drinks were fabulous. This is easily one of the best resorts we've stayed at, with nothing but happy vibes. Harry deserves a special mention for leading the complimentary rum tasting and showing us how to make mixers at home. He even wrote the instructions down for us. We still have some of the included activities to try, including pizza making. Give them a go. Life's too short 😁

Six nights here and we're already keen to come back. The hotel is peaceful, set back from the main road, but nearby restaurants are about a 10-minute walk away. We rented a motorbike, and there was free parking. Rooms were very clean, the pool was huge, and the bar made tasty cocktails. Everyone gave us a warm welcome and did their best to make us comfortable. Harry, Min Htit, Ivann, and Tikki deserve a mention, along with the rest of the team. There were different complimentary classes each day. Our favorites were Harry's rum tasting and Min Htit's mixology class, though we can recommend them all.
