The beach setting is good, and the hotel has large, clean rooms, a clean pool, and a sand pit for kids. The location is nice too. What brought the stay down for us was seeing so much trash in the sea and on the beach. I know it's not the hotel's fault, and the staff work hard to clean it up, but it was upsetting and off-putting. We also paid an extra 500 baht per person for the ninja water park in the sea. I feel hotel guests should get to use it free, or at least at a discount compared with everyone else. Food and drinks at the hotel restaurant seemed very expensive. There is a microwave, fridge, and cutlery in the room, so you can make something yourself.

The staff really made this holiday for me, they were amazing. The Samui Pier is ideally located for what you need, with beachside bars and restaurants and the Big Buddha all within walking distance. Great facilities, and the pool stays open until 9pm. Loved it all and I'll definitely come back.

The staff were friendly, and the food and drink service was okay. It's a budget hotel, which the hotel itself describes as 2 star, though it is listed here as 3 star, so I wasn't expecting too much. We arrived early in the morning after our flight and were told the room wouldn't be ready until 2pm, but they'd try to get it done sooner. It wasn't ready until 2.30pm. Then workers drilled and sawed until 9pm. I went to reception to complain, and the owner was speaking with a builder. He said he hadn't known the work was still going on and agreed it would stop. The work started again at 8am.

I didn't try the rooms, but the pool looked amazing and the staff were really nice. The food was very good, the cocktail was nice, and it's an amazing place to spend an evening. I love it and recommend it.

Everything went smoothly, including the airport transfer they helped arrange. The room was clean and the manager very friendly. I'd definitely recommend it, and say to ignore the bad comments.
