Samujana Villa 11B

The cinema room in villa 28 was a highlight, with an HD projector and great surround sound for movie nights. We stayed there for three nights and loved the natural light and phenomenal view. The staff kept in touch throughout, helping arrange meals, massages, shuttles, and golf carts. Breakfast came each morning as Thai or Western food, with fresh fruit, juice, and pastries. Staff told me security only allowed guests into the compound, which helped the whole villa feel very secure.

We stayed in Villa number 3 for four nights after the CNY rush, just the two of us on a last-minute rate, and it was worth it. We’re hoping to return with family and friends. The villa has four bedrooms and is set up for a larger group, so I’d use Samujana’s website 360-degree tours to choose a specific one. I emailed directly to make sure we got Villa 3, and communication was seamless. The quiet, rocky beach is a 2-3 minute buggy ride away. It felt private and much calmer than nearby public beaches, with the sound of the ocean and no human noise. Being vegetarians, we appreciated the dedicated veg in-villa menu. We had breakfast by the pool with the ocean view, then ate lunch and dinner either in the villa or at nearby vegetarian restaurants. The staff made the stay. Ruda took care of the logistics. I’d share a rough plan and she’d arrange drivers and restaurants, get us good seats, and suggest local places. She even answered an urgent late-night message right away. Khing kept the villa spotless and made a great breakfast each morning, with towels and chairs ready whenever we went to the pool. We also booked the in-villa massage service twice. It was done on a spare bedroom bed instead of a spa table, but it was the best deep-tissue massage I’ve had, very effective and good value. Villa 3’s infinity pool and living area are huge, and there’s also a private gym, big kitchen, TV room, and lovely ocean and sunset views. It outdid every other luxury beach villa we’ve visited. For a luxury holiday or special occasion, I’d pick Villa 3.

There’s plenty to do nearby, though you can’t really walk to it, so I’d recommend hiring a car. The villa was lovely and very well looked after. Nok and Nuch were so kind and worked hard to make sure we could properly relax. Breakfast was delicious every morning, with fruit, fresh juice, coffee, a full English breakfast, or great vegetarian choices, plus toast and jam. They couldn’t do enough for us.

Koh Samui has such a good vibe, with lovely locals, a great mix of people, and a feeling of safety. Our family spent eight days in villa number 17, which had loads of room, and every bedroom had its own bathroom. The views were some of the most beautiful we’ve seen anywhere. Honey, our villa attendant, was the best part. She cooked delicious food and was so kind and attentive, making the whole trip special. We’ll definitely return to this paradise.
